What is Recruitment?
– A group of events that include everything from socials with sororities, game nights, food outings, and much much more!
– It’s a chance for you guys to learn more about who our brothers are and what our fraternity stands for!
– An opportunity for us to hang out and get to know you!
Am I required to pledge if I attend Recruitment?
No, you are not. There is no obligation for you to pledge after recruitment has concluded. Recruitment is an opportunity for you to introduce yourself and become more familiar with our organization and the brothers.
Should I attend all Recruitment events?
You are not required to attend all events, however, if you’re serious about joining Kappa Pi Beta, you’re encouraged to attend all recruitment events from beginning to end. Recruitment is designed to give interested individuals a glimpse into fraternity life, therefore the more you experience for yourself, the better idea you will have of whether a fraternity is something you want to be a part of.
What happens after Recruitment?
After attending recruitment, if you feel that Kappa Pi Beta is right for you, you can inquire about the “bidding” process. The bidding process usually consists of an interview and if you are accepted an invitation to pledge for the fraternity.
Do I have to be Asian to join?
NO. Kappa Pi Beta is an Asian-interest fraternity, but that does not mean that we are Asian exclusive. We focus on the promotion of Asian American awareness. Members of every ethnicity, race, creed, and religion are welcome.
